On June 3,2011 I was having a pretty crappy day. Seth called me around 2 and said he wanted to go to lunch. I already had to go run some errands for work so I told him I would meet him at Pasta Factory. Lunch was good and he got me out of my bad mood. Then he got up to use the restroom and never came back! The waitress came out with a video camera, a flower and a piece of paper taped shut. It was my first clue. Right away I knew what was happening and I started to get so shaky! She recorded me reading my first clue. It said:
"Sometimes when you think about this place, you shirk...yep, you guessed it-it's where you work!"
So I left the restaurant and hurried to the office as quickly as I could. And then I realized...I DIDN'T HAVE MY OFFICE KEY! Nobody was at the office so I had to drive home as fast as I could. I was running around the house like a crazy person trying to find my work key. Finally I got back to the office and read clue #2
"You're being a good sport. Keep it up and head to the old airport."
When I got up to the old airport I saw his sister. She took me to the edge of the cliff where you could see all of St. George and read me clue #3
"We graduated from here in 09'. You have to admit we had a good time."
So from there I headed to Dixie High where I found his brother. (I was starting to think this hunt would never end ha ha). Nick read me clue #4
"Your friend works here when she can, most people leave with a boost to their tan."
I hurried down the street to Island Tans to my beautiful friend, Jostlyn. She gave me clue #5
"Sophmores, juniors, and seniors still have a race to whitewash this hill."
So from there I drove up to the Dixie Hill where I found his mom. She gave me clue #6 and some directions for where to park when I got to my destination :)
"To be sealed for eternity in September, this is the place we'll both remember."
FINALLY I found Seth at the temple. He was in a suit and had a flowers for me. It was the sweetest thing and I was so incredibly happy! I'm so lucky to be engaged to him! I could not be happier!!! Sappy..but...I'm engaged so I'm allowed to be cheesy!! :)

What an awesome way he asked you--way to go Seth!! I love the rhyming clues, and that they were significant places and there were significant people there giving you the next one. I'm as sappy as ever, as I teared up when I read Clue #6 which sent you to the temple. You two are destined for a happy life together, and I couldn't be happier for you both. He certainly made your engagement memorable. I know you have loved him forever and I know he will be so good to you. It is fun to see how much you support each other. I wish you all the happiness in the world.
Okay - so I had her when I was 10, everyone. No way I am old enough to have a daughter getting married! I couldn't choose a better husband for Ciera if I tried. They are made for each other. I am blessed to have such an amazing son-in-law who will take very good of Princess Ciera. And, yes, I warned him a long time ago that she was a princess. He is going into this with his eyes wide open.
